Once you decide that you’re ready to receive professional treatment for a behavioral health concern, the last thing you want to do is go through a complicated admissions process. At Southstone Recovery Center, we make it our priority to help you begin treatment as quickly as possible.

Admissions Criteria

Southstone Recovery Center provides a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for women age 18 and older who are struggling with a primary diagnosis of a substance use disorder and may have related mental health concerns.

Participants must be detoxified of all substances prior to admission. Some of the most common substances women in our PHP have been struggling with addictions to include:

  • Alcohol
  • Opioids
  • Methamphetamines
  • Cocaine
  • Prescription painkillers
  • Benzodiazepines
  • Stimulants

Some participants also have a mental health concern for which they’re seeking treatment. Some of the most common co-occurring disorders we treat include:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
  • Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

We are unable to accept women who have a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder or oppositional defiant disorder.

Admissions Process

Our admissions coordinators are available 24/7 to help you begin the process of entering our partial hospitalization program for women.

Once you reach out to us, we will schedule an admissions assessment so that we can get a better idea of your current symptoms, your medical history, and your treatment goals. Using this information, we’ll determine if our facility is the best fit for your needs or if a different treatment center is better suited to provide care for you at this time.

If we mutually agree that Southstone Recovery Center is the ideal place for you to begin your recovery, we will proceed with the admissions process.

Beginning Your Treatment Experience

Once we decide that Southstone Recovery Center is the right fit, we’ll begin developing a personalized treatment plan. This document will cater to your individual needs, strengths, and goals and may be updated to reflect programming already completed and the progress you’ve made.

We’ll determine which services will be of greatest benefit to you and plan accordingly. Therapeutic interventions you may participate in include:

• Individual therapy
• Group therapy
• Family therapy
• Medication education
• Experiential therapies

We will also begin planning for your eventual discharge shortly after you enter treatment. That way, when you’ve completed our program, you’ll be equipped with the step-down service information and community resources that can help you sustain the progress you made with us.
